Pilgrimage to the the Shrine of Poland August 11th - 20th 2010

August 11 2010: 

Depart JKI Aiport for Warsaw

August 12 2010: 

Arrive in Warsaw.  Visit Convent where St. Faustina first entered Religious Life.  Tour of Old Town Warsaw.  Overnight in Warsaw.

August 13 - 14 2010:

Visit Shrine of St. Maximillian Kolbe at Neipokalanow, celebrate Mass, venerate relics of St. Kolbe.  Marvel at the largest basilica in Poland at our Lady of Lichen.  Candlelight procession.  Overnight in Lichen.

August 15th 2010:

depart for Czestochowa, home of St. Faustina's childhood and see her baptismal fount in church.  Arrive in Czestochowa, Evening prayer in front of Holy Icon of Our Lady of Czestchowa.

August 16th 2010:

Mass to be celebrated in from of the Holy Icon! Tour of the Shrine by Pauline Fathers.  Time for private prayer.  Overnight in Czestochowa.

August 17th 2010:

Depart Czetochowa for the mountains of Zakopane.  Visit to the concentration camps of Auchzwitz.  See the cell of St. Kolbe.  We will pray at the chaplet of Divine Mercy as a group inside the camp.  Arrive in Zakopane, enjoy dinner with special surprise.

August 18th  - 20th 2010: 

Depart  for Krakow and Shrine of Divine Mercy!  Mass at Basilica, Venerate relics of St. Faustina.  Group will overnight at a  hotel next to the shrine for 2 nights.  Tour Old town Krakow, visit Wadowice hometown of John Paul II.  See his Childhood home and baptismal fount!  Mass in front of the tomb of St. Faustina, visit the salt mines

August 20th 2010:

After breakfast, depart for Warsaw Airport for your flight back to Nairobi.
