Besides Israel being the Land of the Bible  it is also big on Agriculture, and TSS endeavors to give Kenyan Farmers and agronomists a taste of Israeli farming while at the same time visiting the Christian pilgrimage sites.

 

27th July 2010: Assemble at JKIA to catch your flight to Israel.

 

 

28th July 2010:  Tel Aviv – Jaffa – Caesarea – Muhraka- Mt. Tabor – Nazareth – Tiberias

Arrival at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv.  visit 2 Kibbutzes one specializing in growth of Field crops and Dairy farming and the other in Pig Rearing and meat production.

 

 29th July 2010: Mt. Of Beatitudes, Banias, Capernaum, Boat Ride, Jordan River (Yardenit)

Visit a kibbutz famous for banana, avocado, watermelon, dates plantations and Dairy farming

 

30th July 2010: Qumran – Dead Sea – Jerusalem

Visit a farm in the Jordan Valley region where you will learn about growing spices & dates and the methods of irrigation. 

 

31ST JULY 2010: VISIT TO A KIBBUTZ

visit a Kibbutz specializing in Apiary (Bee Keeping) , Poultry Keeping, Fish rearing and Organic vegetable farming.

 1st August 2010: New City of Jerusalem & Bethlehem

2nd AUGUST 2010: Old City of Jerusalem

3rd August 2010: Tel - Aviv Nairobi
