L. Nakuru, L. Naivasha & L. Elementaita are shallow alkaline lakes in Kenya’s Rift Valley, some 24 square miles in extent, immediately south of Nakuru town. It is world-famous for flamingoes, which flock here in millions to feed on algae. Millions of flamingoes flock the shores of the lake turning it pink.
Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake that attracts weekenders from the capital as well as travelers en route to Maasai Mara. Golf lovers also get a chance to mix with other national players.
