Amboseli National Park
Amboseli is right at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain. Visitors throughout the world know the classic image of elephants against the backdrop of the snow-topped Kilimanjaro. The huge glacier – covered volcanoes a classic background for animal photography. Despite weather extremes, game viewing is excellent, the main attraction being the elephants, bulls here have some of the largest tusks in the country. Buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and impala are also plentiful, and bird life is varied and interesting.
